Saw this on Stomp. It's about the words on the tee shirt above. It is sold in the Central Market in Kuala Lumpur.I feel that its unfair for M'sian to print this on it as it's disrespectful to us as Singaporeans.Selling it in KL makes it even worse as many people especially Singaporeans visits that place.Maybe they are trying to ask their people to stop littering but isn't it too much to ask them to THROW it in SINGAPORE?Even jokes has it's limtits..i wonder how they will feel if we makes tee shirts that says "Keep your city rubbish-free by throwing them in M'sia!"?
Other than enraging Singaporeans, what will the foriegners think?M'sians are letting them have a bad opinion on M'sia as well as SG, viewing them as rude and disrespectful to other countries and us as a dirty and unclean one.Either that or that they are ignorant and has never been to SG.
According to comments on Stomp, there are a few other shirts like this sold in Central market as well. However,i also feel that we should take comfortable in that we know our own country, that it's eco-friendly and clean, despite what some of the malaysian's may think.

http://sg.yfittopostblog.com/2010/05/04/oh-no-mom-and-dad-are-on-facebook/

This post is about parents using facebook and adding their children on it.It talks about whether we, as their child, will choose to add them back or reject it.
Personally i feel that our mom and dad adding us on facebook is pretty ok, as long as dey still give us some degree of privacy.Such as posting too personal things on our walls or starts to monitor our every move, like th story in th link.Since fb allows us to b able to restrict them from seeing certain things, we dont hav to worry bout them finding out about our " little secrets " that that may not b happy to find out about.
Being as friends on facebook allows both parents and children to interact in more ways.Parents are able to chat with their children on fb when they are at work instead of th more traditional way of phoning, helping them save on th cost as well. They are also able to play games together and get updated about each other easily.Parents will understand more about their children way of thinking and vice versa.
Unless you really have alot to hide from your parents, i see no particular reason why you will reject them n fb.

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/xin/20100430/ten-128-jackie-chan-tops-forbes-celeb-li-3c1b9bc.html

Like th previous post i gt dis article from yahoo again.
It's about Jackie Chan topping the Forbes' celeb list.I'm really happy for him as i'm a big fan of his movies.I've never missed out on any of his movies and even watched some more than once.Seriously, i think its hard to find anyone who will say that they dislike his movies, even lesser that someone will say " Huh?Who's Jackie Chan? ".
Both adults and children most likely favoured his shows with its action/comedy mixed genre.Somehow it never fails to keep my eyes guled to the screen and if i have to rate any of his movies, i'd give them all 10/10.After watching his shows from young till now, he has never disappointed me in any of his shows and i'd recommend you guys to watch them all cause i'm sure you will not stop until you watched the very last one.
Ending this post, i like to say that i will continue to support him until the end.

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20100430/twl-us-blast-oil-energy-pollution-7e07afd.html

saw dis article when i was trying to search for animes thru th yahoo search engine.
basically to sum it up, its talking bout th worst oil spills over the past 40 years
that happened in VENICE, Louisiana.
It oso talks bout th ways they are using to stop th oil flows and th impact it has on
th environment, habitats of marine creatures and of course, th jobs of people depending on
th ocean for money such as P&J Oyster in New Orleans' historic French Quarter.
This is what Al Sunseri, owner of th afore mentioned company, said "I guess we're probably going to end up out of business,".
From my point of view, th government should have done something long ago to prevent oil spills than wait for it to happen to try to solve it.It would have saved them alot of money, labours and pollution of th environment. In th article they also talked about building a giant dome containment structure that could cover the leaks and contain the spill.Maybe if they had done this sooner, th oil spills would not have been as big a problem as it is now.
Although they are doing th best they can now to minimize th effects from th spill, it will still be too late for certain people and animals.A waste of life if i must say, for it is something that could have been prevented.Maybe people can say that th government had more important things on mind to think about something that might have happened but still it shows lack of effiency to me, for th lost of th lives of th animals who died not because of their faults but ours, can never be revived back.
I hope that all countries will see this incident and take actions to prevent something like this from happening again.
